On Saturday 30st September, a team of family and friends of former student Jenna O'Gorman completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge to honour Jenna's memory and to raise awareness of and money towards Type 1 Diabetes with Disordered Eating (T1DE).

Jenna's husband Liam (also a former student), son Alfie and nephew Owen, (both current students) were amongst those who took part in the 30-person team walk, beginning at 06.30 on Saturday morning and completing 24.5 miles, summiting 3 of the highest mountains in Yorkshire in challenging weather conditions.
Through the determination of Jenna's whole family, including our own much-loved Drama teacher Lyndsay, the team have so far raised an incredible 拢12,591.88 for T1DE, which will be used to support other individuals living with diabetes and their families, as well as advancing research, providing education and promoting awareness about diabetes-related disorders.
